LONGSHORE AND HARBOR WORKERS’ COMPENSATION ACT COVERAGE protects workers who load or unload vessels and repair or build vessels, and who do this work on or over navigable waters of the United States of America as called for in the Longshore and Harbor Workers Compensation Act. It does not cover seamen, sailors, masters, and crewmembers of any vessel, nor clerical, office, automation support, or security personnel. Coverage is added to a workers compensation policy by endorsement.
