BUSINESS BUILDING LETTERS:

Extra Expense Coverage

2.B.30

EXTRA EXPENSE

Dear [Name]:

Suppose a fire or explosion or other event prevented your firm from operating for three weeks or three months? In order to stay in business, you would have to find a way to continue your service to your customers at almost any cost.

Staying in business under such circumstances would cost plenty of "extras," including many special jobs, overtime work, rent for temporary quarters, extra transportation charges, and more.

Suppose that your "extra expenses" were covered under an extra expense insurance form. Your operating costs wouldn't suffer because the policy takes up the slack.

This is the most sensible precaution a business like yours could take, and I want to tell you exactly how it works. I will call you in the next day or so for an appointment.

Sincerely,
