BUSINESS BUILDING LETTERS:

OTHER "INSUREDS" (Personal)

Dear [Name]:

Each time you pay your insurance premium you’re affirming its importance. We feel that we have accomplished much of our job by making sure that you carry the various coverages you need to protect your assets against loss. However, we have more to do … and so may you!

Your policy carefully describes the parties that qualify for protection. Generally, it handles loss that involves the named insured (the party that appears on the policy) as well as that person’s spouse and certain relatives when those persons are part of the covered household.

However, coverage does not apply to other persons in regard to whether they are on the same premises. Persons who are not relatives, who are not in the care of a relative, or who are older than a certain age (depends upon whether they are full-time students) are NOT covered.

It is important that you contact us and give us full information regarding your household. We can assess your situation and assist in making sure that each person, their belongings and their legal liability to others are all properly handled.

Sincerely,
