Liability Coverage is changed to Covered Autos Liability Coverage. This
change occurs not only in the coverage title but also throughout the coverage
form and endorsement, with all references to Liability Coverage being changed
to Coverage Autos Liability Coverage.
This change is important because of the many-shared
endorsements. When an endorsement that is attached to a Business Auto Policy
refers to Liability Coverage it is obvious that it refers to Covered Autos
Liability. However, when that same endorsement is attached to an Auto Dealers
Coverage Form and refers to Liability Coverage, the endorsement could be
referring to the Covered Autos Liability or to the General Liability Coverages
Liability. Having a consistent manner of addressing only the auto liability
makes it much easier to address common concerns.
The requirement that any suit to pay damages must be brought in the United States of America, its territories and possessions, Puerto Rico or Canada is changed to apply at all times.
