AAIS COMMERCIAL LIABILITY COVERAGE AVAILABLE
ENDORSEMENTS AND THEIR USES
(September 2025)
The list below
details endorsements, forms, notices, and disclosures, identified by number and
title, which can be attached to the American Association of Insurance Services
(AAIS) GL-200 – Commercial Liability Coverage (Broad Form Coverage). These
items are organized in alphanumeric order.
The listing briefly
describes each endorsement, form, notice, or disclosure. This section does not
address any state-specific endorsements, forms, notices, disclosures, changes,
or amendments. Additionally, only the most recent version or edition of each
form is provided.
AAIS uses a specific
alphanumeric format to identify its forms, structured as follows:
·
The
first two entries are alphabetic characters that specify the insurance line,
such as GL for Commercial Liability Coverage or CL for Commercial Lines,
followed by a space or a dash.
·
This is then followed by a three- or four-digit
number indicating the form or endorsement number.
NOTE: It is understood that
AAIS may be transitioning from a three-digit system to a four-digit system.
·
The
final four digits indicate the form or endorsement's edition date, shown as
month and year separated by a space. These digits are not used in this
analysis.
NOTE: AAIS may also use version numbers such
as 1.0, 2.0, etc., for the edition number.
The brief
description or explanation provided for each endorsement is only a summary. A
full review of the entire endorsement, form, notice, or disclosure is needed to
fully understand how it changes the AAIS Commercial Liability Coverage.
This form outlines
the conditions applicable to all commercial policy forms and coverages.
